Lucas Ricketts of Kentucky celebrates winning the Junior Boys freestyle title on Wednesday in Fargo, N.D.
FARGO, North Dakota – With the freestyle divisions behind us at the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals, Greco-Roman takes center stage at the Fargodome to cap the week-long national event.
There are 1,396 entries in the Junior Greco-Roman division, and another 1,334 at the 16U level, giving us 2,730 combined wrestlers filling up the Fargodome mats on Friday.
8 Junior Boys and 16 16U Boys entered the freestyle tournament with sights set on a USA Wrestling Triple Crown. None made it past the second leg unscathed, so there will be no Triple Crown watch for the boys in Greco-Roman.
If all goes to plan, brackets will be whittled down to the round-of-16 by the end of Friday. Let’s take a look at some notable names heading into the Greco-Roman competition.
