Pennsylvania leads California in overall team race after two women's events at U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals

In the overall team race for the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals, after the first two tournaments (16U Girls, Junior Girls), Pennsylvania sits in first place with 328 combined points, followed by California with 205 points in second and Michigan with 180 points in third place. Rounding out the top five are New Jersey with 180 points in fourth and Iowa with 137 points in fifth.

The next two tournaments, the 16U boys freestyle and the Junior boys freestyle, will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The final two tournaments, the 16U Greco-Roman and the Junior Greco-Roman, are held on Friday and Saturday

Pennsylvania takes a 123-point lead in the team standings after placing first in both the 16U Girls and the Junior Girls. In the Junior Girls, Pennsylvania had four champions and nine All-Americans. In the 16U Girls, Pennsylvania had one champion and 13 All-Americans.

California was third in the Junior Girls with 119 points and 13 All-Americans, and placed fourth in the 16U Girls with 86 points and seven All-Americans.

The top five in Junior Girls were Pennsylvania, Michigan, California, Missouri and Ohio.

The top five in 16U Girls were Pennsylvania, Texas, Oklahoma, California and New Jersey.

Last year, Pennsylvania was the overall team champion at the 2024 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals, followed by California, Illinois, Iowa and Ohio.
