U.S. U20 Pan American men’s freestyle team receives draw for Saturday in Lima, Peru

LIMA, Peru – The U.S. men’s freestyle team at the U20 Pan American Championships has received its draw for Saturday’s competition. It is the final style being contested at the event.

The men’s freestyle team at the U20 Pan American Championships features five athletes who have qualified to compete at the 2025 U20 World Championships, Luke Stanich (65 kg), William Henckel (79 kg), Connor Mirasola (92 kg), Justin Rademacher (97 kg) and Cole Mirasola (125 kg).

The Mirasola brothers are both in round robin competitions. Connor and Cole are both in four-athlete round robins, and each with get three matches on Saturday. Connor was a U23 Pan American champion, as well. Both compete for Penn State.

Stanich, who wrestles for Lehigh, opens with Erick Vera Olave of Ecuador, who has no major achievements.

Henckel, a Penn State signee, will face 2022 U17 Pan American Champion Dario Cubas Castillo of Peru.

Rademacher, who competes for Oregon State, is in a five-athlete round robin and will have four matches on Saturday.  Rademacher won a bronze medal at the 2024 U20 World Championships and was a 2025 Senior Pan American Championships gold medalist.

Past age-group World Team members Kyler Larkin (61 kg) and Adam Waters (86 kg) have also received their draws. Larkin has the winner of a match between Angel Yong Cabrera of Ecuador and David Martinez Gambino of Mexico.

Also receiving their draws are Antonio Mills (57 kg), Jaxon Joy (70 kg) and William Denny (74 kg).

The session times on Saturday are 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. Lima is the same time as the U.S. Central time zone. The event will be broadcast live on FloWrestling.
