Jay T Farrell at the 2025 14U National Duals
Jay T Farrell (Cobb, Calif./Spring Hills Wrestling) has been named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by Air Force Special Warfare, on December 3, 2025.
Farrell won four matches, two by technical fall and two by major decision, on his way to the Middle School Boys 100-pound title at the 2025 USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America Northwest Bigfoot Battle held at The Podium in Spokane, Wash.
He was named Outstanding Wrestling in the Middle School Boys division following a 9-1 major decision over Ryland Howard of Buzzsaw Wrestling Club in the championship match.
Wrestling out of Northern California, Farrell earned medals at the 2025 USA Wrestling Western Regional in both freestyle and Greco-Roman at the 14U level and competed for Team California at the 2025 14U National Duals in both styles. Farrell finished as a freestyle and Greco-Roman All-American at the 2024 USA Wrestling Kids Nationals in the 12U division.
