SAMOKOV, Bulgaria - The final group of wrestlers from Team USA take to the mats on Saturday at Arena Samokov in Samokov, Bulgaria with Greco-Roman at 63kg, 77kg, 87kg and 130kg. The opening session will begin at 10 a.m. local time (3 a.m. Eastern) with the semifinals set to begin at 5 p.m. (10 a.m. Eastern) with medal matches from the previous group firing up at 6 p.m.

Leister Bowling IV and Landon Drury will each await the results of tonight's semifinals to see if they will get pulled into Sunday's repechage. Bowling IV will await the 77kg matchup between Anri Putkaradze of Georgia and UWW athlete Kiryl Valeuski. Bowling IV will need Putkaradze to win. Drury will await the 63kg match between Armenia's Aleks Margaryan and Bulgaria's Kristiyan Milenkov. Margaryan will need to win to pull Drury back in.

Bowling IV hit for passivity and will go down in par terre. Putkaradze leads 1-0 with 1:47 left in the period. Putkaradze body locks Bowling IV and tosses him for four to end the match. Bowling IV will await Putkaradze’s semifinal outcome tonight.

Passivity on Jones, point for Laszlo, par terre with 1:41 left in the first. Laszlo goes low gut off the restart, takes his time, pressures forward and gets an exposure, re-adjusts and gets two more for a 7-0 lead. Back to standing with :45 to go. Jones hurts his shoulder and has to take injury time. Restart with 13 to go in the period. Laszlo leads 7-0 at the break. Laszlo hit for passivity, point for Jones, we go par terre. Nothing doing on top, we’ll come back to standing. Stepout for Laszlo with 5 seconds left. 8-1 will be the final. Jones will await Laszlo’s performance further in the draw.

Passivity on Bowling IV, point for Atanasov, now in par terre with 1:35 left. Bowling IV defends, back to standing with 1:05 left in the first. 1-0 lead for Atanasov at the break. Atanasov drags and gets on top of Bowling IV, but can’t get the takedown as Bowling IV is quad-podding and not going down. Bowling IV fights off the position for no takedown. Atanasov leads 1-0 at the break.

Atanasov gets hit for passivity, tying the score 1-1, but in Greco, if there’s a 1-1 score, the tiebreaker criteria is first point. 1:36 left. Bowling IV gets the counter exposure and then two on a gutwrench. Bulgaria challenges. Challenge is won. The first two points for Bowling IV will stand. The last two will not, as the turn was below the waist. 3-1 on the restart with 1:06 left. One late attack by Atanasov but the time runs out. Bowling IV wins 3-1.

Margaryan goes arm drag for a two-point takedown in the first 30 seconds. Margaryan tries to go reverse lift and gets a lift but doesn’t get points, though he then takes Drury over to his back. U.S. challenges. Action continues and there’s two more, 6-0 when action stops for review. Lengthy review looking at the sequence on the second score. Looks like the U.S. wants a leg foul here. Calls on the mat confirmed, 2 red, 2 red, 1 for the lost challenge. 7-0 with 1:37 left on the restart, Margaryan leads. Margaryan leads 7-0 at the break.

Margaryan drives Drury to the edge and gets the stepout and the 8-0 technical superiority victory. Drury will now wait to see how Margaryan does the rest of the way.

Onitsuka takes Nosler over for four points on a chestlock throw. Restart with 2:15 left in the first, Onitsuka leads 4-0. Onitsuka takes a head and arm and heaves, hitting Nosler with another four-pointer for an 8-0 Onitsuka victory. Nosler will await Onitsuka’s path.
