Women’s Freestyle All-Tournament Team announced at AFSW Junior National Duals

Naomi Simon of Iowa went 8-0 at 170 pounds to make the Women’s Freestyle All-Tournament Team at the Air Force Special Warfare Junior National Duals.
The Women’s Freestyle All-Tournament Team at the 2024 Air Force Special Warfare Junior National Duals has been announced, based upon results from the competition held in Tulsa, Okla., on Wednesday and Thursday.
Athletes who went undefeated in their dual meet matches qualified for the All-Tournament Team, needing a minimum of four victories to be included.
59 athletes representing 22 different states were awarded spots on the Women’s Freestyle All-Tournament Team.
Two undefeated athletes earned nine wins, the most of anyone in the tournament. Kennedy Perez of Michigan went 9-0 at 110 pounds. Kori Campbell of Georgia went 9-0 at 145 pounds.
Michigan placed the most athletes on the Women’s Freestyle All-Tournament Team with seven. Team champion Pennsylvania and runner-up Missouri both finished with six athletes on the team. California netted five All-Tournament Team members. Alabama earned four, while Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota and Texas earned three. Six states were able to put two athletes on the team—Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Ohio and Tennessee. Seven others gained a single member—Arizona, Idaho, Indiana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Utah.
