There are a lot of great pairings for Wisconsin RTC Underground 3 card, with a 14-match Main Card that will begin at 7:00 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, January 20 somewhere in Wisconsin and broadcast live on Rokfin.

In addition to a number of quality freestyle bouts, also included are six women’s matches, plus a Greco-Roman showdown that was scheduled for an early version of the Underground Series.

The final bout of the show will feature a throwback match with pair of past wrestling stars, with Princeton assistant coach and past Indiana NCAA champion Joe Dubuque taking on past Purdue All-American and Midwest RTC coach Chris Fleeger.

In a battle of exciting lightweights in freestyle, past NCAA champion and current Wisconsin RTC star Seth Gross will battle Rustam Ampar, a 2014 Yarygin Grand Prix champion for Russia.

Another big showdown features a pair of 2020 U23 National champions, when Evan Wick takes on David McFadden. Wick, an All-American for Wisconsin, won the U23 Nationals at 74 kg, while McFadden, who was a star for Virginia Tech who is now with the Pennsylvania RTC, won the U23 Nationals at 79 kg. Wick called out McFadden for a match after a recent WRTC Underground event.

Braxton Amos, a 2019 Pan American Junior silver medalist and a Wisconsin recruit who is wrestling for the Wisconsin RTC this year, will face experienced Senior-level freestyler CJ Brucki of the New Jersey RTC.

Another Wisconsin RTC star, past Cadet World champion and Senior-level star Ronna Heaton, has a big showdown with Felicity Taylor, a NCWWC runner-up for McKendree University and a past U23 World Team member.

McKendree University, the defending NCWWC (NCAA-only) national champion women’s team, has brought a number of its top stars for matchups on the card. Joining Taylor on the card from McKendree are Brenda Reyna, Joye Levendusky, Payton Stroud and Pauline Granados. Reyna wrestles Michaela Beck, Levendusky battles Junior World Team member Jayden Laurent, Stroud faces Sophie Smith and Granados wrestles three-time Junior World medalist Erin Golston of the Wisconsin RTC.

Two of the women’s bouts feature top high school stars with very high national rankings. No. 1 Kylie Welker of Wisconsin will battle No. 5 Rose Cassioppi of Illinois, while No. 2 Mia Palumbo of Illinois will square off with No. 3 Chloe Ayres of New Jersey.

The Greco-Roman battle includes two-time Olympian Ben Provisor, who grew up in Wisconsin, against Wisconsin student-athlete Tyler Dow, a 2018 Junior World Team member in Greco-Roman.

Prior to the 14-match Main Card, the Wisconsin RTC will also have a seven-match youth card, which starts live on Rokfin at 6:30 p.m. CT
