Match of the Day: Robby Smith pins Sam Stoll at the 2013 U.S. Open

Robby Smith and Sam Stoll collided in the opening round of the 2013 U.S. Open with Smith emerging victorious via a second period pin. At the time, Smith was a three-time Junior World Team member. He would go on to place third at the Open and make his first Senior World Team later that year, finishing fifth at the Senior World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Stoll, who was still in high school, went on to take eighth place. The future Iowa All-American made his first Junior World Team that summer and took bronze at the Junior World Championships.
