USA Wrestling releases National Coaches "Thank you" video in appreciation of ongoing donor support
by USA Wrestling
USA Wrestling has released a thank you video geared towards it donors and supporters featuring some of its national team coaches. The video was shared through USA Wrestling's social media channels.
Donations to USA Wrestling makes athlete support, programming, and promotion of the sport more possible.
The thank you video was released in advance of USA Wrestling launching its new Development Department-specific website, which will continue to focus on friend raising and engaging the wrestling community through its Wrestler for Life and Wrestling for Peace efforts.
Key functionality of the coming website will be for donors to give monthly, thus triggering an increased engagement with the wrestling community while continuing to increase donor funds to USA Wrestling.
"We have been very fortunate to have the involvement of our large donors, "said Steve Fraser, Chief of Donor and Alumni Relations for USA Wrestling. "In addition to our large donors, we have thousands of donors yearly, and those contributions are vital to USA Wrestling's success."
A recent initiative that has driven engagement in the wrestling community is the Wrestler for Life Story of the Week that continue to publish on USA Wrestling's webpage. These stories have frequently been included in newsletters to all members, as well, thus allowing the stories to reach an even larger audience.
"Monthly giving will be huge for us. We know that it will lead to greater engagement and involvement between our donors, our office, and our athletes," said Fraser, a 1984 Olympic gold medalist.
