Iowa-Style takes on all comers Sunday at the much-anticipated Hawkeye Wrestling Club Showdown Open. The event will be broadcasted live from Coralville’s new crown jewel, Xtream Arena, exclusively on Trackwrestling.com.
Wrestling fans can catch all the action from this unique event for just $29.95. The live stream will kick off at 4 p.m. CT with eight undercard matches, followed by the nine-bout main card at 6 p.m. CT.
Trackwrestling is gifting all pay-per-view buyers of the HWC Showdown Open free access to its live streaming coverage of the 2020 Senior World Championships.*
The undercard will be available to watch for free on the Trackwrestling.com home page prior to the pay-per-view main card.
One of the top faces in college wrestling, two-time NCAA champion and 2020 Hodge Trophy winner Spencer Lee, headlines a grizzled crew of Hawkeye Wrestling Club athletes who will toe the line on Sunday.
Olympic gold medalist Vladimer Khinchegashvili, and multiple-time World medalists James Green and Nick Gwiazdowski are among the list of elite challengers to the Hawkeye Wrestling Club competitors.
Two sensational women’s freestyle bouts are lined up for the main card, underscored by an appearance from World finalist Sarah Hildebrandt.
All matches will feature the current Senior-level freestyle rules set.
Funds raised from this event go toward supporting the post-graduate athletes who participated, as well as the Hawkeye Wrestling Club.
