Registration is now open for TOA Salt Lake Slam, set for January 2 in Farmington, Utah

USA Wrestling has opened registration for the popular Folkstyle Tour of America Salt Lake Slam, which will be held at the Legacy Events Center in Farmington, Utah on January 2nd of 2021.
This event offers high quality folkstyle competition to youth wrestlers, and is open to competitors from across the nation. It is a great way to kick off the new 2021 year!!!
Families are encouraged to register their wrestlers right away, as due to pandemic restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of participants in each age division. The registration caps for this event are:
• 8U boys & girls, 10U boys & girls (250 total between all divisions)
• 12U boys & girls & Middle School girls (250 total between all divisions)
• Middle School boys (450 total. This division will be split up into two groups. See Schedule)

Another good reason to register right away is the discounted entry fee for those who sign up during preregistration.
The entry fee is just $45 for those who register before Monday, December 28, 2020 by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. After that, the late registration entry fee is $55, and late registration closes on Thursday, December 31 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
Based upon the response for previous USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America events this year, many divisions have sold out quickly, so signing up right away is encouraged.
As with all events on the USA Wrestling national schedule, the TOA Salt Lake Slam The will be conducted following the requirements of the state and local health authorities, as well as using the safety provisions of the USA Wrestling Return to Events Guidelines. USA Wrestling and the local organizers will monitor data and local trends closely leading up to the event.
The event will be broadcast live on Trackwrestling.
ADDITIONAL EVENT INFORMATION
• Coaches Bands: The cost for coaches bands are $10 if purchased by December 31 and $15 if purchased after December 31. Please note that Coaches Passes include admission to the event. All coaches that wish to purchase a coaches band to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card.

• Spectator Tickets: At the direction of several committees and local health authorities. USA Wrestling will be imposing a strict TWO (2) pre purchased spectator tickets per athlete registered. No exceptions! This does not include coaches’ passes. This event is General Admission and capacity is reduced to accommodate seating with social distancing rules. Groups will be directed to sit at least 6 feet from each other at all times.
Spectator Ticket Pricing:
- If purchased by December 31st Adults (18 years old and up) are $10; Students (ages 6-17) are $5; Children 5 years old and under – Free
- If purchased after December 31st : Adults (18 years old and up) are $15; Students (ages 6-17) are $10; Children 5 years old and under are Free

• Accommodations: The event has three hotels available for participants attending the Salt Lake Slam. The first hotel deadline is December 10.

• COVID-19 Screening: To mitigate COVID-19 and protect our members, everyone entering the venue must wear a mask and/or proper fitting face covering and be subjected to a daily screening. Anyone who does not comply with this will be asked to leave.
