2019 World Team members vote on team superlatives
by Taylor Miller, USA Wrestling
Welcome to day whatever of social distancing. Content is still hard to come up with, but I think I’ve got something y’all will like!
I surveyed the 30 World Team members of 2019, asking them to vote on “class superlatives” for their teammates, such as best dressed, most likely to succeed, etc. I thought this might be a good way for you, the fans, to get to know a little more about the Team USA representatives!
With the results, I determined who won the category outright by who had the most votes among all three styles. If an athlete won more than one category, I went down the list to see who got the second most votes and then awarded the category to that person.
If an athlete didn’t receive enough votes to win a category, I then reached out to the coaches, who voted on a new category for that athlete. The results are below. Enjoy!
Note: Only 2019 World Team members were up for the awards, so please don’t freak out asking where David Taylor is :)
