Match of the Day: T.C. Dantzler makes his third World Team at the 2005 World Team Trials

T.C. Dantzler was a staple of the U.S. Greco-Roman teams from the early to mid-2000s. Dantzler was a five-time World Team member, making teams in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007. He also made the 2008 Olympic Team and represented the U.S. at the Beijing Games. Dantzler’s highest finish came at the 2006 World Championships in Guangzhou, China, where he finished fifth.
Dantzler was also a member of the historic Greco-Roman team that won a World Championship team title in 2007, the sole Greco-Roman title in U.S. history.
In 2005, Dantzler made his third World Team, defeating Darryl Christian, the 2004 Senior Nationals and Dave Schultz Memorial champion. Watch their match below:
