Toccara Montgomery and Kristie Davis are both legendary figures in U.S. wrestling. Montgomery is a two-time Junior World silver medalist and a two-time Senior World silver medalist, while Davis, formerly, Marano, is a nine-time World medalist, seven-time World finalist and two-time World champion.
In 2003, Davis claimed a World title at 67 kg while Montgomery finished with silver at 72 kg. The following year, Montgomery bested Davis in the Olympic Team Trials finals at 72 kg. Montgomery would ultimately go on to finish 7th at the Athens Olympic Games.
