The same holds true for Couture’s collegiate wrestling career, where he was a three-time All-American and a two-time NCAA finalist for Oklahoma State.
Internationally, Couture was a four-time Greco-Roman World Team member and a 1991 Pan American Games and Pan Am Championships gold medalist. In his career, Couture placed at five Pan Am Championships, making the finals four times.
