McKendree tops NWCA NCAA women's dual rankings, while Simon Fraser tops tournament rankings

The NWCA has released its updated NCAA women's rankings, and two teams can claim the No. 1 spot.


In the dual meet rankings, NWCA National Duals champion McKendree sits at No. 1.


In the tournament team rankings, Simon Fraser is at No. 1, just three points ahead of McKendree.


Simon Fraser has four No. 1 individuals: Karla Godinez-Garcia (116), Lauren Mason (130), Ana Godinez-Gonzalez (143) and Alyvia Fiske (155).


McKendree has three No. 1 wrestlers: Emma Bruntil (136), Korinahe Bullock (170) and Sydnee Kimber (191).


Other No. 1 ranked wrestlers are Jaclyn McNichols of King (101), Emily Shilson of Augsburg (109) and Cheyenne Sisenstein of King (123).


Four of the No. 1 wrestlers are freshman, the Godinez-Gonzalez sisters, plus Shilson and Bruntil.


The NCAA teams will sort it all out at the First Annual Cliff Keen National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships (NCWWC) in Adrian, Mich. on March 6-7.
