#TeamUSATuesday: Catching up with Ryan Deakin

On this edition of #TeamUSATuesday, we spoke with No. 2 on the National Team at 70 kg Ryan Deakin. Ryan will be a redshirt senior this fall at Northwestern and is looking to end his career with an NCAA title. At the conclusion of the 2020 season, Deakin was the undefeated No. 1 seed at 157 pounds going into the NCAA tournament. Some other topics discussed include Ryan’s quick rise in freestyle, his plans for post-collegiate wrestling and what it’s like to be starting a master’s program during the pandemic.
