Final 12 U.S. wrestlers receive draws for Dan Kolov International in Bulgaria

RUSE, Bulgaria – The final 12 U.S. wrestlers have received their draws for the last segment of the Dan Kolov International, a UWW Ranking Tournament. Included are six men’s freestyle athletes and six women’s freestyle athletes.
2016 Olympic champion and two-time World champion Kyle Snyder (Columbus, Ohio/TMWC/Ohio RTC) is entered at 97 kg/213.5 lbs. He will face another American, 2017 U23 World bronze medalist Ty Walz (Blacksburg, Va./TMWC/SERTC) in his opening bout.
Two-time World bronze medalist Nick Gwiazdowski (Raleigh, N.C./TMWC/Wolfpack WC) will open against at 2018 European bronze medalist Robert Baran of Poland at 125 kg/275.5 lbs.
In women’s freestyle, 2018 World silver medalist Sarah Hildebrandt (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC/OTC) will face Silje Kippernes of Norway, who was third in 2018 U23 Europeans, at 53 kg/117 lbs.
Three other women who are past World Team members also received draws. They include Victoria Anthony (Tempe, Ariz./Sunkist Kids) and Whitney Conder (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP) at 50 kg/110 lbs., plus 2012 Olympian Kelsey Campbell (Tempe, Ariz./Sunkist Kids) at 57 kg/125 lbs.
The opening session for this third group of wrestlers will begin on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. local time, which is seven hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time zone. The tournament is broadcast live on FloWrestling.
