#Throwback Thursday: See three Ben Askren bouts at 2009 UWW Grappling Worlds in Florida

With the U.S. Grappling World Team Trials coming to Colorado Springs this weekend, we crawled into the USA Wrestling YouTube Channel vault for some Ben Askren matches.
In 2009, Askren was on USA Wrestling's World Grappling Team, and he competed for the USA at the UWW (then FILA) Grappling World Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Askren won the World gold medal in No-Gi Grappling at 84 kg.
Askren, an Olympian in wrestling, has a tremendous Mixed Martial Arts career, and is now with the UFC. We found three of his matches and an interview from the Grappling Worlds in Florida.
