NCWA GoGreco Nationals set for Dallas, Texas, June 14-15

The 2019 edition of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) GoGreco Nationals will be once again held at Richland College in Dallas Texas, June 14-15.
In addition to the men's Greco-Roman competition, which has been held since 2017, the NCWA will be adding, as an Exhibition, the first ever Women's Greco Division.
GoGreco started with an idea that had at its core a desire to grow the the United States stable of Greco-Roman athletes through expanding college opportunity from just the traditional Collegiate Style of wrestling to the Greco-Roman Style.
Through this program, it offers athletes from NCWA programs off-season competition that not only keeps them in shape, develops their upper body technique and keeps them engaged in sport, but also gives dedicated individuals an opportunity to All-American in more than one style of wrestling while still pursuing a solid college education.
The First NCWA College Greco-Roman National Championship was contested in June of 2017, but was proceeded in 2015 & 2016 by pilot programs sponsored through a joint venture between Texas USA Wrestling, the NCWA and the University of North Texas Coach Andre Metzger.
The 2019 competition will begin on Saturday June 15th at 10:00 am with with weigh-ins at 7:00 - 8:00 pm Friday June 14th. The GoGreco Summit meetings will begin Friday at 1:00 where rules, season and overall expansion will be discussed.
The Embassy Suites Hotel in Dallas has been selected as this years Host Hotel for the 2019 NCWA GoGreco National Championships.
