Unbeaten Penn State goes wire-to-wire, finishes No. 1 in NWCA Div. I Coaches Poll

Manheim, Pennsylvania - After a fourth straight unbeaten season, Penn State finished the regular season as the top-ranked team in the final NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.

The NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Poll is voted on by two coaches from each Division I wrestling conference. Each first-place vote is worth 25 points, 24 points for a second-place vote, 23 for a third-place vote and so on through to one point for a 25th-place vote.
Others Receiving Votes: Illinois 8, Binghamton 7, Oklahoma 6, North Dakota State 3, Appalachian State 1
Dropped Out: None
