Gehloff, Strickenberger, Decker, Segura and Hannah receive draws for 2019 Cadet World Championships

SOFIA, Bulgaria – The final U.S. wrestlers received their draws for Greco-Roman action at the 2019 Cadet World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Beginning their tournaments on Saturday are Mason Gehloff at 45 kg, Jett Strickenberger at 51 kg, Parker Decker at 61 kg, Daniel Segura at 71 kg and Tyler Hannah at 92 kg.
2018 Triple Crown winner Gehloff drew Gheorghita Scheul from Romania in his first match at 45 kg. Scheul was seventh at the 2019 Cadet European Championships.
2018 16U Fargo champion Decker will make his international debut on Friday, taking on 2019 Cadet Nordic bronze medalist and fifth-place finisher at 2019 Cadet European Championships Arturs Seskens from Latvia.
Fellow 2018 16U Fargo champion Hannah drew 2017 Cadet World champion Muhammad Evloev of Russia in his first match at 92 kg. Evloev is a 2018 Youth Olympic Games bronze medalist and two-time Cadet European champion.
At 51 kg, Strickenberger, a 2017 16U Freestyle Fargo champion, will open his tournament against China’s Ou Deng, who placed fifth at the 2019 Cadet Asian Championships.
Wrestling at 71 kg, Segura, a 2018 Fargo All-American, will go head-to-head with Andreas Vasilakopoulos of Greece, who was 18th at 2018 Cadet European Championships.
