USA Wrestling is kicking off a new fundraising campaign with the #TakedownTowel.
1984 Olympic Champion, and current Chief of Donor and Alumni Relations, Steve Fraser, had this to say about the campaign:
“The USA Wrestling #TakedownTowel fundraising campaign we hope will generate some pride and enthusiasm amongst USA fans, as well as help support the Olympic preparation for our wrestlers.
Winning 12 world medals in Budapest last month proves we are on the road to winning Olympic gold. We want to keep the momentum rolling into this campaign and ultimately into Tokyo 2020!”
The towel itself measures 15 x 22 inches, and is made of 100% polyester.
You can get your own #TakedownTowel with a $20 donation via TakedownTowel.com
Once you have your towel, USA Wrestling encourages its supporters to hashtag and share what the towel means to them.
Check it out and tell your friends and colleagues within wrestling about it.
