AMES, Iowa – Iowa State freshman Kanen Storr has asked for and been granted a release to transfer.
The native of Leslie, Mich., has compiled a 15-7 record this season and is ranked 14th by FloWrestling.
“Kanen (Storr) requested permission to transfer to another institution,” Iowa State Head Coach Kevin Dresser said. “I am going to honor that request and allow him the one-time transfer exception.”
Storr, who was 25-5 and runner-up at the Dave Schultz Memorial International as a redshirt freshman, will not compete for Iowa State anymore this season.
