• 12 TRAINING TECHNIQUES - Zach Even-Esh, Rutgers Strength coach, analyzes how the “long” road is the one that most often leads to winning.

• 13-14 TECHNIQUE ANALYSIS - See 2016 World Champion Logan Stieber show a low-angle attack; and Hall of Fame Gene Mills show a Corkscrew Takedown

• 20 REMEMBER WHO WON 125 IN 2017? - Some fans are talking a lot about Ohio State’s Nathan Tomasello or Iowa’s Spencer Lee at the sport’s lightest weight. Lehigh’s Darian Cruz understands that but will be ready to defend his title in Cleveland.

• 24 IOWA DOMINATES ANOTHER MIDLANDS - The Hawkeyes proved they could win a 27th all-time Chicago-based tournament without Spencer Lee as five Hawkeyes collected titles in the 55th annual event.

• 30 BOOK REVIEW: MUSTANG - Mike Milkovich Sr. may have made his name as a top high school coach in Ohio, but WIN’s Mike Chapman reviews the book that shows the father of four great wrestlers also made a national impact.

• 36-37 WIN’S HIGH SCHOOL RANKINGS, PRESENTED BY EZ FLEX - There’s a new top team in the land as Bergen Catholic knocked off perennial power Blair Academy in a “Jersey battle” at an early-January dual. Find out how many wrestlers from your state are ranked nationally.

• 32 TOLEDO RISES AGAIN - Mike Milkovich Sr. may have made his name as a top high school coach in Ohio, but WIN’s Mike Chapman reviews the book that shows the father of four great wrestlers also made a national impact.

• 44 MULTI-DIVISIONAL NATIONAL DUALS - St. Cloud State, Augsburg College, Grand View, Clackamas Community College and Campbellsville also captured team titles in Div. II, Div. III, NAIA, NJCAA and the Women’s division in Ft. Wayne, Ind.

• 51 SEVEN MINUTES WITH TANNER HALL - The Arizona State Sun Devil heavyweight spent the length of a college match speaking to Trackwrestling’s Andy Hamilton about what he thinks about the sport, on and off the mat.
