Star-studded Team USA announced for 44th Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic on March 25

The Team USA lineup has been released for the 44th Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, set for the University of Pittsburgh's Fitzgerald Field House in Pittsburgh on Sunday, March 25.
This team of top high school seniors will battle the Pennsylvania All-Stars in this annual classic event.
All 13 of the team members are ranked in the top four of their weight classes in the Jan. 30 FloWrestling High School rankings, including five No. 1 ranked stars:
• No. 1 Patrick Glory of Delbarton (NJ) at 126
• No. 1 Brock Hardy of Box Elder (UT) at 145
• No. 1 David Carr of Massillon Perry (OH) at 152
• No. 1 Travis Wittlake, Jr. of Marshfield (OR) at 170
• No. 1 Gable Steveson (Apple Valley) at 285
Steveson, a Minnesota recruit, is a three-time World champion, boasting a 2017 Junior World title and a pair of Cadet World titles. Carr and Wittlake are past Cadet World medalists.
This group of stars have won a collective 29 state titles (heading into this year’s state events) and have a combined 1,648-86 record to date.
The event will begin with WPIAL vs. Iowa at 4:00 p.m., followed by Pennsylvania vs. USA at 6:00 p.m.
