Cary Kolat speaks about his remarkable wrestling career during Honors Weekend at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, where he is being inducted as a Distinguished Member. Kolat was regarded as one of the greatest high school wrestlers ever, winning four Pennsylvania state titles and winning the state Outstanding Wrestler four times for Jefferson Morgan High School. Kolat was a star at college, winning two All-American honors for Penn State, then transferring to Lock Haven where he won two NCAA titles. Kolat was a wizard in freestyle, winning World silver and bronze medals for the USA and competing in the 2000 Olympic Games. After a number of assistant coaching jobs, Kolat is now the head coach at Div. I Campbell University, where he is building a strong program.
