BTS and WIBN in New York host an Evening with Tom Ryan in New York City, October 28

A new Wrestlers in Business Network chapter in metropolitan New York is partnering with Beat the Streets in New York City for a special event, An Evening with Tom Ryan, on Wednesday, October 28 at the Rare View Rooftop in New York City.


Ryan, who coached the Ohio State Buckeyes to the NCAA Div. I title in 2015, will be the lead speaker at the event.


Ryan was named 2015 Big Ten, NWCA and InterMat Coach of the Year. Tom is a Long Island native who wrestled for Wantagh High School. He brought Hofstra’s program to national prominence as its head coach, before taking over the Ohio State program. In college, Ryan was an EIWA champion for Syracuse, then transferred to Iowa, where he was a two-time All-American.


Tickets are $125 each and space is limited.


The featured speaker is John J. Dougherty, Managing Director at Ingalls & Snyder’s Fixed Income group, which he founded in 1991. John researches and invests in high yield bonds, as well as distressed debt and convertible securities, on behalf of the firm and clients. John became a Managing Director in 1996.


The Rare View Rooftop is located at 152 West 26th Street, New York, NY 10001. This is between 6th & 7th Aves. Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres will be served, between 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
