It started out as a great idea, to host college wrestling in the nation’s most famous sports arena. In just a few short years, it has become a regular feature on the annual college schedule.
The Grapple at the Garden returns to Madison Square Garden in New York City, Sunday, November 29. Action starts at 7:45 a.m. and runs through about 1:45 p.m.
There are 22 college teams, representing four different wrestling divisions, heading to the Big Apple this weekend for dual meet competition. In addition, there are high school all-star matches, youth competition and exhibition freestyle wrestling and judo bouts on display for the fans.
