USA Wrestling reaches social media milestone, exceeds 400k likes on Facebook

USA Wrestling continues to be on the forefront of the social media landscape in the Olympic family after eclipsing 400,000 likes on the organization’s Facebook page.
According to SportsFanGraph.com, the USA Wrestling Facebook page boasts the fourth highest following of any National Governing Body in the Olympic family, trailing only USA Basketball (2.8 million), USA Tennis (1.1 million) and USA Gymnastics (501,000).
The USA Wrestling Facebook page provides fans quick access to daily news updates, multimedia content and exclusive USA Wrestling initiatives like USA Wrestling Weekly, the USA Wrestler Magazine and live streamed events.
USA Wrestling continues to succeed and innovate on additional social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Google Plus.
The USA Wrestling Twitter page is currently the third most followed of all Olympic NGB’s with over 95,000 followers.
In addition, USA Wrestling has amassed over 52,000 followers on Instagram, and over 128,000 followers on Google Plus since creating profiles on these two platforms in the past year, making USA Wrestling one of the fastest growing sports organizations in the social media sphere.
The organization continues to push the social media boundaries with many successful initiatives like the USA Wrestling Google+ Hangout series and Instagram takeovers.
