The Oklahoma State wrestling team will be featured guests on USA Wrestling’s College Wrestling Google+ Hangout On Air series this Thursday, Feb. 12, at 3 p.m. (EST).
Joining the guest panel for this event will be NCAA Champion Alex Dieringer, NCAA Finalist Josh Kindig and NCAA All-American Austin Marsden.
After earning the national championship at 157 pounds last season, Dieringer has continued the trend, posting a 22-0 mark this year at 165 pounds. Of his 22 victories 18 have been bonus point wins, making him one of the most dominant wrestlers in the NCAA as the post-season approaches.
Kindig boasts a 12-1 record up to this point in his senior campaign for the Cowboys. 2014 marked Kindig’s first NCAA All-American honors as he navigated his way to the NCAA finals at 149 pounds where he fell just shy of a national title.
Marsden has solidified himself as a top-contender at 285 pounds this season posting a 20-1 record on the year. He finished in eighth-place at the NCAA Championships one year ago.
Fans are encouraged to ask questions to the panelists using either the Google+ Q&A application or by tweeting questions using #CowboyHangout.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys Google+ Hangout can be viewed live on TheMat.com and will be archived on the USA Wrestling YouTube Channel for public viewing at the conclusion of the event.
