Gray gets technical fall as Mumbai team beats Uttar Pradesh, 52-21 in Indian Pro Wrestling League

GURGAON, India –Three-time World champion Adeline Gray scored a technical fall win, leading Mumbai to a dual meet victory over Uttar Pradesh, 52-21 in the Indian Professional Wrestling League.
In a battle of past World champions, Gray scored a 10-0 first period technical fall over Ukrainian Alina Makhinia at 69 kg+
Makhinia was a 2013 World champion at 67 kg, and was the 2015 European Games champion at 69 kg.
It was Gray’s third straight win for Mumbai in the PWL, and her team now has a 3-0 record in the league.
The other American in the league, two-time World bronze medalist Alyssa Lampe, who competes at 48 kg for Bengaluru, is next scheduled to compete on Sunday in a dual meet against Punjab in Noida.
In her last match, when Bengaluru faced Haryana on Wednesday, Lampe did not compete. In each dual meet, two of the weight classes are not contested.
