All ages and styles on display at U.S. Open Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas, May 5-9

The nation’s best wrestlers in all age groups and styles are expected to compete at the 2015 Open Wrestling Championships, featuring a new venue in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 5-9
For the first time, the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will host this wrestling extraganza, just moments away from the Las Vegas Strip. The South Point boasts an arena with stadium-seating for the best viewing experience possible for specators and participants, with direct access to the venue at the hotel.
The traditional major events held as part of the Open Championships return, including the Las Vegas/ASICS U.S. Senior Open, the UWW Junior National Championships, the Veterans National Championships and the Western Junior Regionals.
For the second year running, the growing U.S. Kids & Cadets Open will be included in Las Vegas. The highly popular tournament gives younger wrestlers the chance to compete in a quality tournament in freestyle, Greco-Roman and folkstyle wrestling, held alongside the best Senior wrestlers in the country. The field is expected to be larger and more competitive than last year’s successful first year.
Wrestlers who make reservations at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa before registering for their event will receive a discount on their registration fees. To reserve a room, visit the South Point Reservation System and use promo code ‘USA0504’ on the checkout page.
All eligible athletes can register for all events online at TrackWrestling until 9:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Entry fees differ by event and can be found on the respective event registration website below:

This year, the UWW Junior Greco-Roman Nationals will also serve as the World Team Trials in Greco-Roman only. A best-of-three series will be held in the finals, with the winners qualifying to represent the United States at the 2015 UWW Junior World Championships in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, August 11-16.
The UWW Junior Freestyle Nationals is a qualifying event for the 2015 UWW Junior World Team Trials in Madison, Wis., June 12.
Also this year, the U.S. Senior Greco-Roman Nationals will serve as the first stage of the World Team Trials in Greco-Roman only. Only the finalists in each weight class will advance to the U.S. Greco-Roman World Team Trials Wrestle-off in Ithaca, N.Y. on June 4 in Ithaca, N.Y. The U.S. Open finals match will serve as the first bout of the best-of-three series for the Greco-Roman World Team Trials.
For fans, tickets can also be purchased in advance on Trackwrestling.com during pre-registration for the events. All-event (4-day pass) admission is $160 for VIP (main floor next to mats), $75 for General Admission Adults and $40 for General Admission Youth (ages 6-17). A two-day pass is $90 for VIP, $50 for General Admission Adults and $30 for General Admission Youth. One-day tickets are $45 for VIP, $25 for General Admission Adults and $15 for General Admission Youth.
