John Licata named Executive Director of Wrestlers in Business Network

CLEVELAND, OH- With the start of the New Year, the Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN) has named John Licata as the organization’s new Executive Director.
The WIBN was founded in 2009 as a LinkedIn group by Aaron Grossman and others and has since swelled to more than 5,900 member profiles. In addition to the online presence, both via LinkedIn and now the official WIBN website, the organization has two chapters based in Washington D.C. and Cleveland, Ohio.
Licata said, “I am excited about the prospects of growing our network across the country and feel we have a sustainable platform that brings professionals with in the wrestling community together in a very unique fashion.”
Licata rises to the role of Executive Director after having served as the President of the WIBN Washington, D.C. chapter since 2010.
In addition to his experience with the WIBN, Licata has held several prominent positions with various relocation service companies. Most recently Licata served as Vice President of JK Worldwide, a full service relocation company with worldwide functionalities. Licata has also had leadership positions with Equity in Athletics, Reston YMCA, North American Movers Association, Greater Washington Employee Relocation Council, and Virginia Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Aside from his corporate endeavors, in 2009 Licata began the Licata Group, a business focused in the professional services arena and most recently Real Estate Business. The real estate company has become one of the largest volume agents in Virginia.
Licata will look to incorporate his experience from past and current endeavors as he assumes the Executive Director role during a time of optimism and expansion for the WIBN.
Licata joins the WIBN on the heels of the announcement that the entity is scouting 10 potential new cities for regional chapters.
Licata added, “WIBN is the place where professionals come together to support each other’s careers while also giving back to the wrestling community.”
