The Virginia Tech Hokies wrestling team will be featured guests on USA Wrestling’s College Wrestling Google+ Hangout On Air series this Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 3 p.m. (EST).
Joining the guest panel for this event will be Virginia Tech Associate Head Coach Tony Robie and Hokie All-Americans Devin Carter and Joey Dance.
Robie is currently in his ninth season at Virginia Tech, serving now as associate head coach on Kevin Dresser’s staff. He has been crucial to the Hokies recent successes, including top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships the previous two seasons. Robie specializes in coaching the middle and upper weights for Virginia Tech.
Entering his senior campaign, Carter has earned two NCAA All-American honors for Virginia Tech, including a runner-up finish at the NCAA Championships last season at 141 pounds. He also boasts three ACC titles on his impressive collegiate wrestling resume.
Dance earned All-American honors for the Hokies last season as a true freshman, finishing in fourth place at the NCAA Championships at 125 pounds. He was named 2014 ACC Freshman of the Year for his efforts last season.
