Ukraine announces rosters for Battle at the Falls

(Ottawa, ON - May 21, 2013) Team Ukraine today announced its line-up for the Batte At The Falls, and they will come with some of its top athletes to compete at this tri-country wrestling meet in Niagara Falls in Canada.
The event, which will end the month of May as the International Wrestling month in a spectacular fashion, will take place on Friday, May 31 and will feature the top women wrestlers from Canada, the United States of America and Ukraine.
Team Ukraine are expected to be tough competitors for their Canadian and American opponents as they ended the 2013 European Championships as the top nation among the group.
Former World Champions Katerina Burmistrova (72kg) and Ganna Vasilenko (63kg), are headlining the Ukraining crew, joined by current European Champion and two-time Junior World Champion Alina Stadnik-Makinya, 67kg.
In the 59 kg weight class, Natalya Synyshyn is a two-time European Champion and bronze medallist at World Championships.
Yulia Blahinya, 51kg, and Irina Husyak, 55kg, are two medallists from the 2013 European Championships.
