Four champions repeat at Veterans Greco-Roman Nationals in Tucson, Ariz.

There were four repeat champions at USA Wrestling's Veterans Greco-Roman National Championships in Tucson, Ariz., May 3.


In the A- Division, Andrew Bristow repeated as champion at 97 kg/214 lbs., while in the B- Division Jason Goldman also won for a second year in a row at 58 kg/127.75 lbs.


Chris Brown, wrestling at 76 kg/167.6 lbs., in the D-Division and Stephen Campbell at 97 kg/214 lbs., in the E-Division also won their second consecutive titles.


The event also saw last year's 63 kg/138.75 lbs. champion Rodger Horton return to the championship match, but fell to Mark Levasseur in the D-Division at 58 kg/127.75 lbs. Brian Jackson, last year's champion in the C-Division at 130 kg/286.5 lbs., took third. James Schartner took first last year in the 58 kg/127.75 D-Division and places second this year.


The Veterans National tournament will run from through Friday May 4. It is being held alongside the Western Junior Regional Championships, which conclude Saturday May 5.
