Oklahoma City holds No. 1 WCWA women's ranking, with six No. 1 athletes

Defending WCWA national champion Oklahoma City held down the No. 1 team ranking in the Women's College Wrestling Association Ranking released on October 15. OCU was also ranked No. 1 in the preseason rankings.
The Stars were led by six athletes with No. 1 individual rankings: Emily Webster (101), Michaela Hutchison (123), Tessa Plana (136), Kristie Davis (155), Brittney Roberts (170) and Brittany Delgado (191).
Moving up to No. 2, after starting the season at No. 4, is King College, led by No. 1 ranked individuals Emily Martin (109) and Alli Regan (143).
Simon Fraser is now ranked No. 3, a drop from No. 2 in the preseason, with no athletes holding a top ranking. Coming in at No. 4 is Lindenwood, led by two No. 1 ranked wrestlers, Gabrielle Henry (116) and Cianah Hee (130).
Making the biggest jump as a team is Wayland Baptist, which holds the No. 5 team ranking after a preseason ranking of No. 9.
Rounding out the top 10 are No. 6 Lindenwood, No. 7 Jamestown, No. 8 Missouri Valley, No. 9 Menlo and a tie at No. 10 with Missouri Baptist and Waldorf.
