Roddy White is known as being one of the top receivers in the NFL. But what most might not know, is White was a two-time high school state wrestling champion from James Island, S.C.
White visited the Olympic Training Center with 10 wrestlers from his alma mater as USA Wrestling is launching a promotional campaign aimed at the benefits of wrestling for football players and vice versa.
USA Wrestling talked with White about the new initiative as well as USAW Manager of State Services Tony Black and James Island H.S. Coach Albert Spalviero about their trip to the OTC.
