Doug Schwab accepts UNI head coaching position

The Iowa City Press-Citizen has reported that Doug Schwab has accepted the head coaching position at the University of Northern Iowa.
Schwab was offered the job on Monday and accepted it on Tuesday. He had been an assistant coach at Iowa, where the Hawkeyes have won the past three NCAA titles.
Schwab placed fifth at the 2007 World Championships in freestyle wrestling and also made the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team at 66 kg/145.5 lbs. He won an NCAA title for Iowa.
Schwab placed third at the U.S. Open last month in Cleveland.
