Two U.S. FILA Cadet women unbeaten after first day at Klippan Lady Open in Sweden

KLIPPAN, Sweden - Two U.S. women wrestlers competing in the FILA Cadet division at the Klippan Lady Open are undefeated after Friday's competition.
Going unbeaten on the first day at 56 kg/123 lbs. were Aleah LaFrancis of Vista, Calif. and Roni Goodale of Muscatine, Iowa. The U.S. athletes are competing in different pools, and would only meet in the medal rounds.
Goodale had a 3-0 record, while LaFrancis was 2-0 with a bye in the third round.
The FILA Cadet division at the Klippan Lady Open will conclude on Saturday morning.
The Senior division at the Klippan Lady Open begins on Saturday and concludes Sunday. The U.S. has 15 athletes entered in the Senior division.
