First four U.S. freestyle wrestlers weigh-in and receive draws at Junior World Championships

BUDAPEST, Hungary - The first four U.S. men's freestyle wrestlers at the Junior World Championships have weighed in on Friday and received their draws for Saturday's competition.
At 50 kg/110 lbs. - Nick Roberts (Hooversville, Pa./Young Guns) will open with Lasha Talakhadze of Georgia. Roberts is a star high school wrestler, who has won numerous USA Wrestling age-group titles.
At 60 kg/132 lbs., Matt McDonough (Marion, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) opens with Stanislav Reutsky of Ukraine. McDonough was a Div. I NCAA champion for the Univ. of Iowa as a freshman last year.
At 74 kg/163 lbs., Conrad Polz (Orland Park, Ill./Illini WC) will battle Oleg Zakharevych of Ukraine. Polz competes for the Univ. of Illinois.
At 96 kg/211.5 lbs., Tyler Lehmann (Fargo, N.D./Minnesota Storm) will wrestle Takahiro Baba of Japan in the first match. Lehman is a high school star who is headed to the Univ. of Minnesota in the fall.
"We have only two guys with experience at this tournament" said U.S. coach Rob Eiter. "As a whole, the team comes from competitive collegiate programs. They won the Trials event. We are excited with the young kids we have."
"Nick Roberts is still in high school, but he has skills that will surprise people here. Matt McDonough is an NCAA champion, with great coaching from Tom and Terry Brands. He's ready to go. Conrad Polz has been super impressive in camp. He has trained hard. He has some phenomenal wrestling abilities. Tyler Lehman is a young kid, who has proven himself by making this team. He is going to Minnesota. He is big and strong and hard to move" said Eiter.
