Kristie Marano was a stalwart on Women's Freestyle World Teams throughout the last decade. Now, married and known as Kristie Davis, she has a nine-month old baby girl, Lily, and is in school at Oklahoma City University.
Davis, a nine-time world medalist and two-time World Champion, is returning to the mat soon, but how soon depends on when she's medically cleared to compete.
Davis talked to USA Wrestling's Jason Bryant at the Girls Folkstyle Nationals in Oklahoma City this past weekend to talk about her plans to return to the mat and what life is like in college at 30.
