Inaugural USA Wrestling Women’s Collegiate Club Nationals Set for Thursday, March 5

USA Wrestling’s first-ever Women’s Collegiate Club Nationals tournament is just two days away at The Palestra in North Liberty, Iowa.

The competition was created to provide a true national championship opportunity for collegiate club athletes who do not have access to NCAA or NAIA championship events.

Currently 11 clubs will be represented at the national tournament, including Boston University, Brown University, Coast Guard Academy, Columbia University, Cornell University, Cowgirls Wrestling Club (Oklahoma State University), Devils Women’s Wrestling (Arizona State University), Indiana University, Purdue University, Rider University, University of Jamestown and West Point Wrestling Club (Army West Point).

A few standouts to watch are Kaiulani Garcia, Gigi Bragg and Caitlyn Davis of Cowgirls Wrestling Club, and Clare Booe of West Point Wrestling Club.

Garcia competed at the 2022 U17 World Championships in Rome, Italy, and finished fifth at 73 kg. Davis took part in the 2024 U20 World Championships in Pontevedra, Spain, and she also won the 2024 NAIA National Championship at Southern Oregon. Bragg won gold at the 2021 U17 Pan American Championships in Oaxtepec, Mexico. Booe was the 2025 NCWWC National runner-up with King.

Competition begins on Thursday, March 5, at 10 a.m. CT. Placement matches are scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. CT, followed by championship finals at 4:15 p.m. CT.
