Public invited to USA Wrestling Awards Reception during lunch at World Team Trials on May 30

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - The general public is invited to attend the annual USA Wrestling Awards Reception, which will be held between sessions of the World Team Trials, presented by the U.S. Marines, on Saturday, May 30.
This event brings together many of the legends and the leaders of the wrestling community, to celebrate success and share friendship and goodwill.
The USA Wrestling Awards Reception will be held at the MidAmerica Center between the morning and afternoon sessions of the World Team Trials, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Tickets for the reception are $12.50 a person. Hamburgers, bratwursts and hotdogs and side items will be among the items served. There will also be a cash bar at the function. Tickets for the awards reception will be available at the door on Saturday.
USA Wrestling will be announcing the following award winners at the reception:
2008 Freestyle Wrestler of the Year
2008 Greco-Roman Wrestler of the Year
2008 Women's Wrestler of the Year
2008 Freestyle Coach of the Year
2008 Greco-Roman Coach of the Year
2008 Women's Coach of the Year
USA Wrestling Man of the Year
USA Wrestling Woman of the Year
Fans will have an opportunity to mingle with many of the sport's legends, who will be attending the World Team Trials event.
The event will be held during the break between the first and second session of the World Team Trials. Since many fans will be seeking to get lunch at this time, the USA Wrestling Awards Reception will allow them to get a convenient meal, while spending time with some of the nation's top wrestlers and coaches. Fans won't even have to leave the arena to enjoy lunch and rub elbows with some legends.
