Known as Lewboo on TheMat.com Forums, Randy has talked for many years about entering a competition again. In recent days, he has indicated on the message boards that he would be wrestling in Waterloo. Lewis is a coach with the Hawkeye Wrestling Club, and has been coaching many elite freestyle wrestlers in recent years.
Lewis tells Wrestling411 about his "comeback," and what he's looking to get out of it. He also discusses the tricks he's got up his sleeve for wrestlers not even born when he won his Olympic Gold in Los Angeles in 1984.
"I'll be wrestling on May 16 in Waterloo. I'll be at 163 pounds/74 kg. I am definetly going to do it," Lewis told Wrestling411.
"I plan on winning it. Things that may worry me are getting beat up as the tournament progresses... I like my chances. Hopefully, I'll get a couple guys and pin them quickly in the first couple matches... I think I will surprise some people," he said.
