FCA/NWCA Champions Breakfast set for March 20 in St. Louis, to feature Father/Son theme

The 15th Annual FCA/NWCA "Champions" Breakfast in conjunction with the Div. 1 NCAA Wrestling Championships will be held, Friday, March 20 from 7:30 am - 9:00 am in the Regency Ballrooms at the Marriott Union Station, St. Louis , Mo.

The 2009 event will be a special tribute to Fathers and Sons in Wrestling.

There is joy for both fathers and sons when sons learn wisdom from their dads. Proverbs 23:22-25

The Marriott Union Station is three blocks west of the Scottrade Center.

Sons and current Cornell wrestlers competing in the NCAA Championships, Jordan Leen and Justin Kerber will "team up" with Dads, Mark Leen and Jeff Kerber, to share their story of love and influence. Jordan Leen was a NCAA champion in 2008.

Olympian Nate Carr and Nate Carr, Jr. will serve as our Emcees. A special Father /Son video will be shown. Olympic champion John Peterson and son Justin will close out the program.

The program will also feature FCA's announcement of plans for a new sports ministry, FCA Wrestling.

Current NWCA coaches and teams competing in the NCAA championships can receive free tickets, plus the general public can sign up and pay at the NWCA booth in the Scottrade Center during the first round of wrestling competition, Thursday, march 19th.

Park your car one time on Friday in the Scottrade Center lots, walk to the Marriott, enjoy the "Champions" Breakfast and be back at the Scottrade Center in plenty of time for Friday's round beginning at 10:00 a.m.
