Since the World Championships, the World Grappling Committee has been working on rule modifications. Recently, the Italian Grappling Federation has tested some of these proposed changes. The final rules changes will be decided at the end of February when the World Grappling Committee meets in Corsier, Switzerland. Some of the main changes will likely include points for a takedown and sweep and a re-working of the overtime period.
