Cadet National Duals in Minnesota and Schoolboy National Duals in Indiana underway

USA Wrestling is hosting two of its popular National Dual Meet Championships this week.
Now underway are the National Duals in Rochester, Minn. and the Schoolboy National Duals will be hosted in Indianapolis, Ind.

Cadets are athletes who are 15-16 years old, and competition will be in both freestyle and Greco-Roman.

Schoolboys are athletes who are 13-14 years old, and competition will be in both freestyle and Greco-Roman.

Wisconsin is the defending Greco-Roman champion at the Cadet National Duals, defeating Minnesota Black in the championship finals on criterion. The teams were tied at the end of the dual, but Wisconsin won nine matches to Minnesota's eight.
Oklahoma is the defending freestyle champion at the Cadet National Duals, defeating Pennsylvania, 35-33 in the championship match. A pin by 215-pounder Max Adair of Oklahoma broke a 30-30 tie and was the difference in the dual meet.
Minnesota Gold is the defending champion in both freestyle and Greco-Roman at the Schoolboy National Duals. The team beat out Pennsylvania Blue in both championship duals, outscoring them 38-33 in the Greco-Roman final and using a 39-32 performance in freestyle. Minnesota Gold did not lose a single dual meet in both tournaments.
