WARSAW, Poland - Two U.S. women wrestlers have weighed in and received their draws for the first day of the Poland Open.

At 63 kg/138.75 lbs., 2009 U.S. World Team member Elena Pirozhkova (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC) opens with a match against 2008 University World champion Justine Bouchard of Canada.

Also in Pirozkhova's half of the draw are 2007 World champion Audrey Prieto of France, 2008 University World silver medalist Oxana Shalikova of Ukraine and two-time World bronze medalist Monika Mihalik-Rogien of Poland.

At 72 kg/158.5 lbs., 2008 Olympian and 2009 U.S. World Team member Ali Bernard (New Ulm, Minn./Gator WC) opens against 2009 European silver medalist Alena Starodubsteva of Russia.

Also on Bernard's half of the draw are 2007 Junior World silver medalist Ekatarina Bukina of Russia, Maida Under of Spain (who was fifth in the 2008 Olympic Games), 2007 World bronze medalist Olga Zhanibekova of Kazakhstan and 2006 Junior World champion Vasilisa Marzaliuk of Belarus.

"This is basically a World Championships, without China and some of the Japanese team," said National Women's Coach Terry Steiner. "Pretty much everybody is here. The weights are pretty loaded."

Coaches decided not to enter two members of the 2009 U.S. World Team who have been on the training and competition tour to Poland: Clarissa Chun (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at 48 kg/105.5 lbs. and Tatiana Padilla (Azusa, Calif./Sunkist Kids) at 55 kg/121 lbs.

Four other U.S. athletes will weigh in on Thursday and will compete on Friday:
* 51 kg/112.25 lbs. - Jessica Medina, Colorado Springs, Colo. (New York AC)
* 59 kg/130 lbs. - Deanna Rix, Colorado Springs, Colo. (New York AC)
* 55 kg/121 lbs. - Leigh Jaynes, Colorado Springs, Colo. (New York AC)
